Boarding/Daycare

At Ruff House we offer puppy classes, obedience training, clicker training, manners, and an assortment of teaching for both you and your dog. We train YOU so you can train your dog. We offer personal one on one classes, as well as group classes.

We value the relationship between dog and master, and we want to ensure you have the very best understanding of your canine companion. We can help you understand how the mind of your dog works, so you can better work with him/her.

Fat Dog Boot Camp
Rates: $35 per day, plus GST.

At Ruff House we understand it can be difficult for owners to separate their own feelings from the needs of their beloved pet. Dogs develop anxiety issues and weight problems from poor eating habits and lack of exercise, as well as boredom.

For dogs such as these, we have developed a program to help get your dog back on track physically and emotionally. We ensure the dog is getting the proper amount of nutrition and we also train them on the treadmill. Each dog is given a specific amount of time several times a day, building up their stamina. When your dog returns home, you can continue where we left off.

We have discovered that if we get the dog onto the road to recovery, the dogs’ owners generally keep the dog on the right track once they leave our facility.

Naughty Dog Boot Camp
Rates: $50 per day, plus GST.

Naughty Dog Boot Camp is for dogs with energy management issues.It is similar to Fat Dog Boot Camp in structure, with one exception. We focus on more manners work with the "naughty" dogs as well as the energy management.

Please Note: If the work we have started is NOT continued at home, the dogs will return to their old habits. We will give you the tools you need to get your dogs on the right track, but it is up to YOU to keep them there.

Fat Dog Boot Camp and Nautghy Dog Boot Camp are both a minimum of 10 days stay to ensure the dog is well started and grounded in routine.
